Detroit Tests of Learning Aptitude-3

The DTLA-3 is a battery of 11 subtests that measure different but interrelated mental abilities. The battery is designed for use with persons ages 6 through 17.

The 11 subtests:

1. Word Opposites
2. Design Sequences
3. Sentence Imitation
4. Reversed Letters
5. Story Construction
6. Design Reproduction
7. Basic Information
8. Symbolic Relations
9. Word Sequences
10. Story Sequence
11. Picture Fragments

Test time: 1 ½ to 2 hours.

This test compares the student’s ability in areas of: Linguistics, Attention and Motor. It provides a "General Mental Ability" (comparable to an IQ) and compares it traditional IQ tests.
