The
Slingerland Screening Tests for Identifying Children with
Specific Language Disability
The
Slingerland Screening Tests are designed to show relative
strengths or weaknesses that may exist in visual, auditory
and kinesthetic functioning. The subtests reveal deficits
that may exist in one or more of the vital areas upon which
written language, receptive and expressive, depends since
they afford an opportunity to examine sensory-motor functions
in the process of association and interaction of perception,
discrimination, integration, memory and performance. There
are 8 subtests. Test time: 1 to 1½ hours.
